Today on dated 17-10-2025, a programme namely “Grantha Batra” under Research Cell, IQAC, Sarbodaya College was held under supervision of Dr. Namita Borah , Assistant professor, Department of Assamese, Sarbodaya College,Convenor, Research Cell, Sarbodaya College. At the program Mr. Robijit Dutta, Coordinator IQAC, Sarbodaya College, Santana Nath, HOD, Department of History, Manosi Borah, HOD, Department of Geography, Pranjal Borah, HOD, Department of English,Dr. Pranjal Borah and Mousumi Borah, Assistant professor, Department of Political Science, Sarbodaya College present at the program. A welcome speech was given by  Mr Raju Saikia,HOD, Department of Political Science, Sarbodaya College.The  program focuses on the students to participate at the said event by elaborating the basic theme and messages of his favorite book. The total seven students participated at the program and they were successfully able to share the messages of their favorite books. At the programme  Dr. Pranjal Borah, Assistant professor of the Department of Political Science and Assistant Librarian Mrs. Sangita Bordoloy inspired the students by giving the most importance on reading Books for acquiring knowledge of the universe. Finally, the convenor, Research Cell,IQAC, Sarbodaya College collected the feedback from the students and urged the students to make a habit to read a new book every week and share the messages among the colleagues.
